Wouldn’t it be cheaper to to buy a used amp than two junk Harbinger subs

You are assuming I'm going to buy those subs and I already said the priority is get the work done on the van, get my registration renewed, get the parking permit, get the lock put on the back door and then get the hydrolic speaker stands. After that maybe a couple of moving heads. Please keep in mind I said maybe.
We gave he has no clue how to properly program moving heads, that would require him to learn something new to him DMX, which he is horrible with any sort of technology
The events I've done I don't see people tripping over if I use DMX or just leave the lights in sound active mode.
I found DMX hard to learn and it's so long since I used it I would probably have to learn it again and Tyrone Blue was helping me with it. In all seriousness I don't feel he has a chance of cathching it
Instead of two moving heads buy the Gigbar move with the press of one button on the foot controller you could have several different scenes it would be better than straight up sound active and if you plan on decent moving heads not much more money

Get the Van fixed, that's a safety thing.
Don't bother with speaker stands, juts put the speakers on the floor - there's nothing wrong with that and will work fine at all the events you've described.
Let your friend buy the light, It's high time your 'partner' held up his end of the plank.

Forget about me buying any subs. I just found out today I need another Cadalitic converter for the van. $1,500. I will bring the van back to the mechanic tomorrow and get it fixed. I took of business today catching up on some bill. I still have in the bank well over $1,000. So I'm not doing to bad. I get my Social Security money on Wednesday. So I'll survive even though right now it don't feel good. Please be kind if you make a post on this thread.
Honestly, I don't think you should be buying any new gear. In fact, you'd be smarter to sell the gear you do have and take up being a mentor or assistant to some younger guys. You'll find it much more rewarding to be working with the next generation than chasing the past.
Do you have the QSC’s paid off yet that should be priority number 1 if not why keep paying the ridiculously high interest rate, you’ll end up paying well over twice what they cost by the time you add in the interest charges
