Code of ethics......

I don't see "cart ownership" as an issue at all.

it only involves YOU and the venue. and you both have the same goal.
so why not help each other out.
have you never been asked by the venue to help THEM out with something?
make an announcement about the buffet line?
ask someone over the mic to move their car thats parked incorrectly?
heck, I remember lending MY hand cart to a photographer to help load his gear.

should I have been offended by this moral outrage???

YOU have a Cart!!!! You mean to say you upgraded from the Skateboard and bungee cords?

O Kay where does the term Business Ethics come from since people seem to think ethics only has to to with morality or religion.

For those that don't know it's not a good idea to use Photograhers as a rebuttal to one of my posts. It's like opening up the flood gates on what I dislike concerning Photographers so i ask your support in not putting the red flag in front of me.........Please.

Hey can i have my ODJT Card as my avatar. I don't know how to go about changing my avatar from the question mark to this fine example of Hanks work.

Download it and then upload it to you avatar setting. Although, I think it's time you became a big boy and took the bag off.

...not putting the red flag in front of me.........Please.

Not everyone sees these issues like you do. You say "red flag"...equating your point of view with a bullfight... whereas to me, it's more like one of those wheels you give a gerbil.

I was looking for the Thread/Post but could not find it nor the name of the Venue.

So your asking the name of the venue? For the CC that made me dress up going in or the CC that makes you go through the kitchen? I would post the venue for the Kitchen but not the one that the planner drinks at. We work there a few times a year and there name or the planner wont be floating in my posts sorry.

Not everyone experiences as many encounters as I do.

Thank you Proformance for your input.

True, the fantasy world and the real world are much different.

doesnt it tarnish the code to deliver gear to a prestigious function such as a wedding in So Cal in beaten down white vans?

Or if you are asking what post I was referring to then it would be this one.
Whats the post? You did not put the link. The Venue's name was on the post anyway. If it is their policy then I don't see a problem with posting it. Maybe DJs need to know about this Venue's Policy.

I think nextgen1 hesitation in posting the Venues name is appropriate considering these posts can be found on the internet, Wish it wasn't like that.
Cesar, it is just that I can't find the Original thread. There is nothing wrong about posting anything about any Venue, DJ or anyone as long as it is the truth. One of the benefits of a DJ Forum like this is to share information and experiences. Nobody is trying to slander the Venue or anyone.

I bet anything that the Venue does not tell the Client of that policy when the Client books the room. Why, because they don't want to loose the business and because they know they can push around the DJ to comply.
