Code of ethics......

Is there really anything immoral or unethical if you can't even agree to something as simple as the Dolly?

Morality is an issue of humanity or God, an extension of spirituality and human self-awareness. Ethics is an issue for the social contract, agreements implied in the equity of all people.

Neither provides a basis to judge someone with regard to whose "dolly" they are using.

Being more self-sufficient does not make you a better person, more moral or ethical. It just makes you more self-sufficient.

I can see loading in and setting up in slacks, dress shoes and a polo company shirt. In a tux or suit, nope I guess I would not be back. I paid about 500 dollars total for Tux and extras. The one time that a local country club wanted me to load in slacks is the last time I snagged and ripped a 30 dollar pair of slacks. Most of the places in my area don't really care about loading just the performance dress.

The ones that do then we load in through the kitchen. And I'm fine with that, I already know once I'm done I will be sweating very well. I have since worked at that country club again and they have changed there policies. I guess the DJ's were taking to much time loading in trying not to work up a sweat. )

I'm not a huge fan of the planner at the CC. Usually about half way through a wedding she is pretty well lubricated. Personally I prefer some of the venues that have strict planners. We work well together and the show hummmms all the way through. I have a couple caterers that are the same way. I try to be and like to work with people that are "On It".

I was looking for the Thread/Post but could not find it nor the name of the Venue.

Cesar he is not morally obligated to search further nor would he be ethically wrong for not actually searching it out as he simply mentioned the thread and the possible author. Oh and by the way unless you have played in Sacramento you wouldnt likely know it. Hows the Apartment complex treating you?

Okay, I finally stopped laughing enough to be able to post...

Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to both introduce and reintroduce Southern California's own "Cesar"! If you choose to continue or begin engaging him in this or any another thread, I would strongly suggest (for your own safety) wearing head gear and removing all sharp objects and firearms from the immediate area. If you have successfully gotten a wall to change color simply by shouting at it, you have a very good chance at making a point. Good luck and God speed.

HEY CHEZ!

No galleries yet. We can use that forum though if you like. :)

Speaking of which, is that planned? It was nice not having to post pictures up to photobucket (or flikr) first.

You can still attach pictures to any post using the upload a file button. There is just no specific gallery section of the site. I'm sure there will be one down the road but it wasn't even on my radar as the feature wasn't used a whole lot on our previous software.

There is a 3rd party showcase mod out there for both images and video but I haven't had a chance to dive into it yet. 3rd party stuff always makes me a little nervous as support is never guaranteed. For instance, the arcade plugin we used on vBulletin was just pulled for security problems. It got reinstated a couple days later but I would've had to remove the scripts and waste a whole lot of time because the developer wasn't keeping an eye on things. As it is I spent 5 hours converting client sites to an alternative script. :-/

I don't find an upload button .. The picture link only allows you to select a URL unlike the previous revision that had an upload option.

Ethics - The moral compass which we steer our life by.

Yes .. MORALS, the goodness or badness of human character, not issues like wired vs wireless mic, or having not having a cart, those are business or common sense issues, not moral ones. I don't disagree that image concerns, lack of planning, lack of preparation, poor hygiene, etc. aren't issues, just stop calling them ethical ones.
