I'm considering getting a 18" Harbinger sub.

Forget about me buying any subs. I just found out today I need another Cadalitic converter for the van. $1,500. I will bring the van back to the mechanic tomorrow and get it fixed. I took of business today catching up on some bill. I still have in the bank well over $1,000. So I'm not doing to bad. I get my Social Security money on Wednesday. So I'll survive even though right now it don't feel good. Please be kind if you make a post on this thread.
Did you get a second opinion/quote on replacement of the catalytic converter? You could be getting screwed on that $1500 bill.

Of course not he trusts his mechanic 😳😳
I don't have a reason not to. I know when it comes to such a thing to replace it cost a lot of money. I know others who had it done and it wasn't cheap. It's also about someone knowing what they are doing. I learned my lesson that sometimes it's not always a good idea to go with the cheaper price.

What do we say when it comes to our business. Normally you get what you pay for.

I just pulled the trigger on a pair of Rockville hydrolic speaker stands with bags from Ebay. $154.50 that's including tax. I should get them in the next few days.

Hopefully we see these used in all of your pictures from now on, since you seemed to really “need” them even after several members pointed out the gigs you do rarely have any need for stands

I did look at the description and it did say hydrolic. I don't know what you're talking about Tunes4046. I guess I will find out when they get here.

The stand you bought doesn't do all the lifting for you... you still have to manually lift the speaker. It just makes it feel lighter by releasing pressurized air to help push up the speaker. This is different than true "hydraulic" or pneumatic lift stands, that are rated for certain weights, and will do the entire lifting for you, where you physically do not need to lift the speaker.

An example of this type of stand is the Frankenstand F2, but those are about double the price of your stands.

I apologize Mix, I did go and read rockvilles add for these. It does say hydraulic, which is incorrect marketing as there is no fluid just air assist. Never the less these should make it easier for you. I’m excited to see pics of these in all of your gig pictures

Honestly I don't understand what I bought. I just bought them thinking they would do everything. I like that they come with bags.

Let me say also that when I do the event for the seniors in Montclair I will just put the one speaker on the floor.

Why do DJs brag about being booked…
but never brag about being profitable?

I’ll wait.
