No I didn't because that crowd is not looking for standard stuff. They want deep underground house music.

Now I have no issues with me not being the tackhead DJ playing the stupid stuff that the young people want to hear today. Those songs are so short most of them and my brain doesn't think that fast anymore to rush and que up the next song. My specialty is deep underground house music, standard house music, club classic and oldies but goodies. Others on here have a problem with that. I don't.

My partner is great at playing tackhead music and some other stuff. Sometimes an event is tailor made for him and some for me.
 
Great now you know you will never get a high paying job nor will you ever not deal with shady people. So there is no reason for you to post anymore.

LOL...im pretty sure if i was challenged by any other dj on here...i would feel some inner motivation to respond in kind....however... being challenged by Mixy is one of the times that i feel like ive allready won.

You're making an awful big assumption here. Don't confuse knowledge with performance needs. As shown time and time again, many here are booking and rebooking many events. You are not. That speaks volumes.

Mix .. You just don't seem to understand that the market for "deep underground house", outside of clubs, is very, very, very small (I needed 3 verys). There just aren't a lot of 60+ year olds that want to spend money on a DJ that only knows that music.

You can feel whatever. Until you show up punk you haven't won a thing. Especially if you have to research what you need to do it. I said it already I don't need to research a thing because I already know what to do.

Why don't we make it fair ...

@MIXMASTERMACHOM and @djcrazychris pick a date .... @DJ Ricky B will set up a poll the day before and the ODJT readers will pick the music selections. You'll have 24 hrs to research and prepare .... Game on ...

Mix, considering you don't know / won't play anything current, how much researching do you need to do in order to perform at any one of our events - which are not deep house.

Regardless, there doesn't seem to be anything beneficial coming out of this thread at this point .. so I will close it at 10:00pm EST.
