I thought Sparkie probably got told to set up anywhere and he immediately dropped anchor by the Kegs. Im surprised There isnt a bunch of goats and Rick in this pic.

Rick and the goats are passed out behind Sparkie, another reason to have a tent :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Kirby can you photoshop it?

LOL, wish I could! I'm all thumbs when it come to photoshop usage. I plan on having Coreen and Junior tutor me to get me up to speed this winter as we are going to be pretty quiet for bookings.

I'll go.

Hey Cap?

Would you share with the group where you got those groovy little Tri-Pod stands you have your Vue's mounted on? Perhaps a manufacturer. I have been looking for some smaller stands like that to no avail... they look smaller in the pic's than a speaker or light stand?

Hate to tell you this guys - but those kegs were emptied at the party the night before. They were used for the National Keg Throwing Finals that day. I (and my partner in the pic) were dj'ing a Big custom car show being sponsored by DropJaw magazine and several other major sponsors at Farmington Dragway in Farmington, NC. This was the year that the Vin Diesel theatrical "The Fast And The Furious" became a national phenomenon.

Brian: Have you ever considered running your speaker cables up the center of your supports? Perfectly hidden.

Just coil up the wires when you're done and put the support and wiring in the same tote bag.

Cap: When you say run the cables up the center of the supports do you mean coil them around the vertical poles or inside them somehow?

I always either coil around the pole or tape them to the back side of the pole just curious if you knew a way to get the cables inside the poles... I've had an idea for that but can't figure out how to keep the wire run in place while being able to collapse the stands. I've seen it done on tv monitor stands and thought it might be possible on speaker and lighting stands.

Heres some shots of my system with the new amp and fans.

I plan on adding a furman power conditioner to the top, buying a few rack panels to fill in the gaps, and adding a rack panel with speakon outs, and AC power outs at the bottom to replace the surge. I'm going to try to get to GC this weekend.

the rack with the hd2500 is mine, this was at a club gig i recently did.... i am going to make some changes soon though i want to put the 2500 and the mixer in a small case for when i do gigs like this so i don't have to lug that huge thing in

Thats a great looking system of yours! I'm a CD guy, for some reason the Denon HD2500 or the HC4500 just don't appeal to me as much as a pair of CDJs or s3500s does, but nevertheless its a great system. One question, are you running your sound through the sonix maximizer to the club's system?

Well i also was thinking getting 2 denon 5000 and a 19 rack coffin and putting the 2500 and the mixer in the middle witht the 5000's on the sides....i had the 5000's and miss them sooooo much!!!

no i had the maximiser bypassed, the club system was running off of a driverack and it sounded awsome!!!!

I have GOT to ask... WHAT DO YOU PEOPLE HAVE AGAINST TOUCH PADS?!?!!?

I fix computers for a living and used to hate touchpads (I preferred the "pencil eraser" kind) but once you get used to them they work great.

How can you stand trackballs?!??!?

Sorry :)
