Wow what a difference it makes designing on a PC at the resolution or higher that I was aiming for.... Let's put it this way I got home at about 12:30am and it is now 1:28am so in less than 1 hour I had Dream Weaver 8 installed and my site fixed.... ya me!

It just gets easier and easier.... still waiting on whay Wayde had in mind.

Sure you can, just have to know how to do it. :sqwink:

Believe it or not I actually have two people locally that want me to design a website for them.... :sqerr:

I think I know how to do it but honestly the way we did it before made things very complicated and in the end that's why I choose not to attempt it with this design. You know the whole K.I.S.S. thing.

I sent you that link yesterday morning. That's the gist of it. The other pages would be similar. It was just missing the availability checker and the weddingwire link. Let me know if you still want me to continue working on it.

Well take a look at the site as it is now and let me know what you think... then if you have any suggestions to make it better and I don't know how to code the changes then lets put our heads together rather than you doing all the work.... I really need to learn this and I learn by doing.

I do like everything... you've shown on that page and it looks like we think alike. ;)

If you are happy with it then it is fine.
My only suggestion (besides the one already mentioned about the weddingwire border), the multi font size effect (the tag line under the photo) doesn't work in a sans sarif font and with only two sizes. It's meant as a play on the old typesetters tiles, which would only be sarif fonts, like Times New Roman.

Just noticed in Firefox and Safari that the text box is set a bit too far to the left and overlaps the menu button shadows. Also the tagline under the photo breaks in Safari.

Hmmm, just out of curiousity, try the background & text colors I used. Set the background (what you now have as peach) to #e5e4d7 and change the text to #947846.

I see what your saying...

Actually the reason it looks like the text overlaps the button shadows is because I didn't save the buttons large enough and the shadow is cut off because I didn't have a big enough canvas when saving them.... I'll be fixing that and making the cell padding thicker in order to push the text over more.

The only thing I didn't like about your colors is that the text seemed to disappear into the background in the example you had.... but, I'll give it a shot when I fix the other problems....

Overall with everything considered I think it's a vast improvement over my past attempts and what not.

Rob,
That yellow color was horrible....It really made my eyes freak out...

The tanish color is much, much easier on the eyes...

We didn't officially start the business until 2005 because we needed to gain experience before go about this endevor in any sort of professional manor.

Rob on your "About Us" page...it's spelled

endeavor

also manor should be manner

Also....

I then started working on our internet pressence.

That should be presence

Just thought you'd want to clean that up. :sqwink:

Read them outloud to yourself. I find that helps.

Going back and rereading this and it just doesn't seem right. How about something more like:

We didn't officially start the business until 2005 because we needed to gain more experience before going about this endeavor in any sort of professional manner.

OR:

We officially launched our business in 2005, after spending several years gaining the experience necessary to promote our business in a professional manner.

Not knocking, just trying to help. :)

I like the layout. I wish that ours was more "professional" looking than it is.....:sqfrown:
