1) I guess i could pay for a fake website and post that here, buy a fake business number and post that here, pay for advertising to my fake business to really fool them, bribe people here to say they have met me or talked to me, but i'm not sure why anyone would do all of that. Sure it's possible, but it just doesn't make sense. Possible, but very, very improbable.
2) I have found that most fakes and wannabe's out there just choose to remain anonyomous. It's a lot easier. I don't think it is a coindidence that the most outragous claims seems to come from the anonymous.
3) I am not suggesting that just because someone appears to be real that EVERYTHING they say must be the truth. But just like in any relationship, as people say things and I continually find them to be true and accurate, my respect for that person grows and I tend to give that person's post more weight than someone that I may see as a braggart, immature, or rude.
Scott,
1) I completely agree that in all probability no one is going to to all that trouble to fake credentials. I only posed the possibility to show that DOING all of that doesn't PROVE that one IS a DJ either.
This also means, per your statement, that Cesar probably wouldn't go through the trouble of faking those pics of his set-up and office, right?
2) As previously stated, I do not post my address on the net ( though I give it to my clients, of course), Nor do I post my home phone number. If one were to ask me ( and why would they? :sqerr

, I would strongly advise AGAINST posting too much info on the net. There are NO "secure" sites, I don't want some nut case screaming past my house at 4am, or idiot phone calls to my home 24/7. Contact info on my listings show my business name and phone#, with the address only as Bergen County, NJ.
Though you are correct that most wannabes like to remain anonymous, they aren't the ONLY ones who prefer it.
3) Personally, I don't care whether a description of a scenario is correct or not. It has no effect on the way I read or react to it. Either way it's another exercise in thought. This is an information sharing forum. No one needs to prove a thing to me ( and why would anyone care what
I think anyway? I'm just another poster...)
BTW, in regard to that "real dj/DJ/kj/ Karaoke Host thing I keep reading about: I do the work, I get paid for it. Real enough for me.
