Tim - I'll be outdoors again tonight (campground show) and then a wedding tomorrow in a church hall where the AC is sketchy at best... I think I'd prefer the outdoors show. At least there's a chance of a breeze...

As for how hot is TOO hot?? With the way the weather has been this year, I REFUSE to complain about heat. It'll be winter again WAY too soon for my taste!

When the wedding cake starts to melt, it's too hot.

I'm serious. We've seen this occur at outdoor wedding receptions in summer. It ain't pretty. Some wedding cakes are rather elaborate affairs... and they cost some serious money.

For the life of me I cannot understand why a B&G would place a $600.00 wedding cake in a hot, stuffy tent when it's 90+ degrees F out there. :dontknow:

bring a fan,,,, put it right behind you!,,, helps keep ya cool,,, I have one at EVERY event...

yes it does!!! If I am cool, I'm happy and they are going to get a better performance outa me.... it's all about me anyway! LOL..

and you can invite guests to come up for a blow job!

Black tux in direct sunlight at 90 = too hot.
130 guests in suits and ties in direct sunlight = sweaty
That was yesterdays ceremony.
The resulting reception was "funky" to say the least.
But we all stank equally.

It's not hard to "stank" together in "sticky" situations like that....:sqlaugh:

90 degrees is too hot. No one is going to dance and as soon as dinner is over with, most will be leaving. Air conditioned tent a different story.

Look on the bright side (There always is one). The DJ gets to go home early. Hard to beat!:sqlaugh:

When it comes to outdoor weddings, my assistant Stanley is as important to my setup as my DJ mixer:

Keeps me cool, and the built-in outlets are also helpful. Less than $40 at your local Wal-mart.

How long have you had that. I remember someone posting a picture of one quite a while ago. Maybe even at Sid's.

The first one is twice the price of the one I suggested. The second one is unavailable. Also, keep in mind that a higher velocity fan may also have a bigger power draw... something you DON'T want, especially when working outdoors where electrical service can be sketchy.

Also, the amount of velocity doesn't matter. At the '1' setting, the fan I use moves more than enough air to keep me cool. On the '3' setting, you can give everyone on the dance floor an instant bad hair day.

I've had mine for about 4 years.

That was not me. I have previously posted the two others I mentioned.
