I was thinking. Since I already have many ready made frames with Oil Paintings Installed, its very easy for me to use a Framed Oil Painting as the front of a facade Image is 4' h x 6' w = frame size 4.5' h x 6.5' w
I have many Oil Paintings of different genres already pre-stretched on the stretcher bars (Frames within a main frame). I can chage them out at will depending on the event.
What would you think of any of these as a Front for a facade? I have many more and can have some custom made even have photos blown up and used as the Facade.
Will it be too detracting? I can also put a picture light over it for illumination.

Perfect for funerals! For weddings or gigs? I don't think so....:sqlaugh: Sorry, someone had to tell you the truth:sqerr:

if you were doing the nudist run you could always have an oil painting of you in the buff from under the DJ table or for others you could change it up with pants on and highlight them with a different colored par depending on the room decor or the brides colors. Or you could just have a Dynacord Sub painted as if it is under your table. Wink wink!!

Are you f@#$ing kidding me?:sqeek: Use those paintings as a facade along with a Bose wave radio and you'll be the hit of any party.:sqcool:

:sqerr: I do not own a Bose Wave Radio!

I agree with everyone else.
I would think you'd want a facade that implies "FUN"...

oil paintings (especially the ones you've shown)
kinda give a "stuffy" vibe.

Hank,
I was gonna click "THANKS" on your post...
but I'm afraid that would only encourage you.

Those Paintings depicted were NOT the ones that I had in mind to use. They were only for show. What if I had a portrait made of the person(s) for whom the event is given?
What if I had a painted gobo style signature?

So hmm if it were a rapper and Scratcher if they had a Tagged mural painting facade would there be an issue?

I like the picture of the "honoree's" idea
but it'd be much like a regular light gobo...
expensive to do for ONE day, so the client would have to pay for it.
even then, it may seem a little egotistical (for them, not you)

I think the problem is that it is turning out to be much like a huge banner
and you lose a little of the "class" of the event.

well here is my painting I done when I was 16 just before I left school for art
got me top marks and has been in the shed ever since
- then had it framed and was offered over $2000 for it and I said no thanks!

wanna use this one :)

I think it could work...but personally I just can't support this idea.

It could work in the line of uniqueness....but this is not the kind of uniqueness that would make or break your business.
