I would guess the guy that took 2 months too save every dollar for them may not share your care free attitude.

Btw, Ive owned the GTD Audio G-787H for 16 months and im very impressed with them. It was my first attempt at a cheap mic and it paid off surprisingly. Amazon.com: GTD Audio G-787H UHF Diversity Wireless Microphone System: Musical Instruments
I also own several GTD wireless systems, I bought based on Rick Ryans review, I have been very happy, I still use Shure ULX for very important jobs

I can finally add something useful to this topic, used the GTD mics today, and I could not be anymore pleased with them, mic went hot about 930am, and was being used about every 10 minutes tell about 4/430p, never had drop out, the receiver was about 100 feet away from the mic for most of the day, and in enclosed room with just double door opening, never had a drop that I heard, and 430pm when checked the mic, it was down one bar on the battery meter, and I was using the batteries that came with the mics just to get them used up

Anyone have any experience with the GTD Audio G-788 system.
This is the version I have and its a great system. Lots of range and good sounding.. I have it in a rack and that does not impede its range. The diversity system works well.

Thanks that might be all the incentive I need. I already own a GTD system, but am starting to experience regular drops. I have had it for 5-6 years now and cannot even buy replacement mics for it. It is a GTDAudio G-900 system.

Do you have any pics of your rack? Always open to ideas.

GOT A LINK TO ANY DOCUMENTATION TO VERIFY THAT ? thanks.
Just check the Amazon links. If true, these WILL be subject to the proposed FCC auction.

GTD Audio G-787H:
Amazon.com: GTD Audio G-787H UHF Diversity Wireless Microphone System: Musical Instruments
Frequency: UHF 610MHz - 680MHz

GTD Audio G-787HL:
https://www.amazon.com/GTD-Audio-G-733HL-Diversity-microphone/dp/B007IOB7GW
Frequency: UHF 610MHz - 680MHz

GTD Audio G-622H
https://www.amazon.com/GTD-Audio-G-...sr=1-1&keywords=GTD+Audio+wireless+microphone
Frequency: UHF 610MHz - 680MHz

It seems ALL of the GTD Audio links on Amazon seem to fall in the bandwidth.

An extended auction of 600 MHz spectrum: Bad news for carriers, but good news for Dish and Ligado

Seems the buyback portion of the auction to acquire the space has finished and they got the 126Mhz of space they wanted (580ish-700ish). Next is the ongoing sale of the space and it appears to be sluggish (They want $85 BILLION for 100Mhz of space (26Mhz set aside for buffers in between). Appears vendors are slow to pay that much, and I guess the way it works is if it's not all sold, the amount of space decreases and they continue until it's gone. Looks like 2020 is a decent bet to be able to use existing 600Mhz gear, though that's only 4 years, so anything new better pay back quick.

Even IF the GTD mics fall into the range that will somebody be off limits, and assuming they didn't offer some kind of upgrade or frequency modification on the units, I'd still gladly buy them all over again in the new range. My units have paid for themselves, many times over and the performance is far beyond the pittance they're charging. The simple fact is, this vendor delivers fantastic value and performance and that's something that's hard to find.

It will be interesting to see any reviews for these.

Does anyone use the body packs with the GTD Audio system and how effective are they? The ones that came with my GTD Audio G-900 are not very effective at all. I can be 10 feet away but if my body is between the pack and the receiver... nothing. The handheld I can take a couple of 100 feet with no issue.

Ron, I did a outdoor test for the lav system, and my back yard is right over 10oft in length and it worked fine, no issues.

Did you test it with you back turned to the receiver and the body pack in front of you (i.e. your body in between) .. this is usually a tough test for many transmitters .
