Not bad...

Now get 100 people into your yard, and have them sit in chairs between that wall and the receiver. Wear a suit, and put the body pack under your suit jacket Then stand there with two people near you and act like you are officiating a wedding. Then re shoot the video, and let's see how good the quality is! :twocents:

Thanks I really appreciate you taking the time to conduct that test. It does provide more insight.
One thing I noticed it did not seem to be stereo. I only got audio on 1 channel. Did you have it setup that way?
Thanks again.

no such thing exits, any communication I have had with them has been e-mail
Yea so far they are not responding. That is the one thing that makes me nervous about doing business with them. I want the G788 which is not sold on amazon. Only the G787 is sold on Amazon.

So here is an interesting question:
Anyone have a working phone number for GTDAudio.net?

They can barely speak English. It wouldn't do you any good if they answered. As for the units, I'd advise against the diversity unit you're wanting. I have a 4-channel unit, which also has antennas in the back. They don't fit right in the rack case (the pairs are too close to each other) and I'm not convinced that diversity will get you anything in terms of performance. Their non-diversity units perform better than name-brand, diversity receivers. To me, it's a no-brainer. The 787 is an excellent value.

Looks like all the 787 units on Amazon only have antennas in the back.

I should have taken time to look it up. The unit that I've had the best experience with, and that about a dozen people have bought (and loved) is the G-733. I bought the one with dual hand-helds, then bought a couple bodypacks (with lavs). I also picked up a couple of headset mics. It's all inter-changeable and makes for a flexible configuration. Incidentally, the officiants all seem to prefer the single-ear headsets.

I just got off the phone with VocoPro customer service. It went to a menu, and I pressed 2 for sales, and someone picked up right away! Spoke English quite well, and certain it was an American. I ordered a new Frequency N microphone for my UHF3205 unit. Cost is $90 for the new microphone.

I concluded my vocopros have the best sound quality. I tightened up the antennas today, and once the new mic comes in, that system should be set. I plan to use it more often.

I will probably buy the $79 GTD UHF unit to replace the NADY DKW at some point. I'm going to give the NADYs a try at this Saturday's wedding. If they aren't working for some reason again, then they will be replaced. Of course I will have my Shure unit set up as well.

Hmm, that is interesting, I will look into that.

This is the version I have and its a great system. Lots of range and good sounding.. I have it in a rack and that does not impede its range. The diversity system works well.
Just an update
I ordered this model a few weeks ago, and just got around to putting it in the rack. I drilled 2 holes in the back and one on each side. Created four little jumper cables and bought antenna mounts to go through the holes. So the antenna's are on the outside of the rack. I placed the receiver in the garage, walked outside and to the far end of the house (about 100ft) away and successfully transmitted with no drops (this includes going through the numerous interior walls in the house and 2 brick walls. I tested with the headset / body pack combination and the handheld. With no drops.
