I did get the 32gb iPhone 3GS turns out to be a tad cheaper than my old Blackberry Curve... But if I had to do it again - I'd probably do the Droid

Which is one reason I love Sprints Plan. With taxes, it comes to about $73 a month, and that included unlimited texts, data (including the Blackberry service), N/W @ 7, unlimited Mobile to Mobile to ANY carrier and 450 anytime minutes.

Wayde, do you know if it is possible to sync it too Google calender?

I have the blackberry tour, and I HATE it! I used to have the Q9M, emails where synced to my phone. I loved that thing. The only reason why I got the blackberry was to take Credit Cards on the spot through the merchant ware app. This is a huge benefit for my business. Besides that, here are some problems I can not stand with:

1.) Phone shuts off when battery gets too low. I have to wait 5 minutes to get enough of a charge to place a call
2.) I will start to dial a number and halfway through dialing it will go back to the home screen and dial the second half of the phone number
3.) I constantly go to dial a number and put it to my head, then I notice the call was never placed because I forgot to select home or work.

It is great replying to messages on the go but the e-mail thing is more annoying that helpful. I haven't screwed around with my notification settings yet, so my phone has like 50 sms' and emails ready for me when I wake up every morning. Because I don't want to skip a potential important e-mail, I have to manually read everyone of them. The phone makes my job too efficient (which my GF considers a bad thing).

I am used to windows based devices bahhh!
 
My Sprint Blackberry Curve Review

Ok, I have had the little device for slightly over a week now, and played with it enough to formed a pretty solid opinion. First, I should say I have never taken a picture or shot a video with a phone, so I really can not comment on those aspects of the device.

Right out of the box, I noticed something I knew I would like: the keyboard is nicely spaced out for a phone, so when you are typing on it, you do not hit 3 letters at the same time (an issue I have with any touch screen phone which is why I will never buy a straight touch screen phone). The typing is also quick, meaning there is no lag time in typing out messages, which has been an issue with past phones I have had.

Another thing I really like is the clarity of the phone calls on the device. It could be the network, but the calls really are clear and loud when talking. Also, the ringers are loud on the phone too.

Speaking of what, one of the best things is the ability to use one of the songs you have stored on the phone as a ring tone (I have Carolina Liars "Last Night" set as mine right now). It is a crystal clear tone, not muffled like some of the other phones I have heard that have this feature.

Then off course, there are the apps. I have the facebook, myspace and twitter app on the device, plus what could possibly be the best thing ever invented: pandora radio. This app basically completely takes the need for you to carry another mp3 player away. I have also put the audible app on it, which allows you to stream your audiobooks, so I really do not carry an ipod anymore now.

Two small but very nice features are the headphone jack, which is a standard 2.5mm jack as opposed to the normal 3.5mm on most phones, which means you can use normal headphones, which is ssoo nice. Plus, the fact that the "plug" on the phone is nothing but a standard mini-usb is super easy. I can now carry just one usb cable, and use it for my 2 western digital drives and my phone. No more mess of cords.

The phone came with an 1gb mini-sd card, which for me is plenty to put the podcasts I listen too on.

If there is one negative, it would be the battery life. It is horrible on the device. I have to charge it every day,and this the first device I have had to do that with.

All in all, a solid phone for both business and personal use.

Sprint is currently giving them away with a new 2 year agreement.
 
i also just got the tour and like it very much.the clarity on this phone is superb and it has one main feature which i appreciate (ability to change font/size of lettering).i hate to be always looking for my glasses to read anything on a cellphone.when i go overseas i'll get to test the international capability on other networks.
 
i'm not sure which provider(s) yet but BB is supposed to start rolling down updated software for the people who want push to talk feature something like what nextel has.
 
My $0.02 -- I have the Samsung Omnia II and I love it! All touch screen, super easy to type with Swype (look it up!) and all my email accounts, apps, and other goodies at my fingertips!
 
Just wait a little longer there is some really new things that will be released

because thats why I stayed off getting a phone with this coming and it will be used by some of the phone carriers as well

There are different standards bodies around the world who use the term differently.

The equivalent network to ours operated by Clear in the USA is accepted by everyone there as a 4G network. Here's a few 4G networks you can have a look at:

Clear in the USA
P1 in Malaysia
Sprint 4G in the USA

anyway its just a start to whats to come...

there is the exact reason I would not own it.

I have to have a real keyboard
