Has anybody here heard of a site called Fash?

I get a kick out of some of the emails from them. I seen a couple that their budget was under $300. LOL. One listing their budget for their wedding is $1,000-1250. That's a nice budget compared to others I've seen on here. Again you have to pay a certain amount to them to get the potential clients info. I don't know what the charge is. I know they limit the number of responses before you can't pay to get the lead.
You do a lot of gigs for under $300 seems perfect for you

Read my mind! Mixxy doesn't like having to pay a fee for the leed.
You pay for the lead but there is no guarantee you will get the gig. I understand it's about knowing how to sell yourself. Those events that are looking for a DJ for under $300 are not around the corner from where I live.

No different than buying a new light and not knowing if you will get more work from it
Buying a new light to use at an event is nice but it certainly won't be the reason others at an event will be dying for you to do an event for them or someone else they know. It's about how well a job you do at an event.

Here's a real funny listing. Willingboro, NJ. Birthday party for 8 hours. They want to pay $400-500. They got to be kidding.

Let me ask these 2 questions. First would you do an event lasting 8 hours and if you did the event what price would you quote to do the event.
No I would not. I can make at the least 3 times that in no more than 5 hours on a wedding reception.
If you need money why not?
Starting out over 30 years ago I'd jump all over the gig so as to have a little income and get my name out so people can see my talent & gain experiance.
Adrian, your a little long in the tooth too entertain the thought of an eight hour gig.

Did a 9 on the weekend not including setup time. Did 2 8s the week before and a 7 and 14 the week before that...The pitfalls of being a Canadian DJ LOL
