I'm looking at getting a pair of U king moving heads to use on a light stand.

Let me say I know that U king is not Chauvet or ADJ moving heads. I watched some videos on the ones I'm looking at getting and they said so far so good. Not looking at them lasting for the next 5 years, just looking at them lasting for at least 20-30 events. They have a set of 2 on Ebay for $171.99 and free shipping. My thing is I have 2 matching lights I want to use on the light stand and have the 2 moving heads at both ends of the light stand. If I can pull it off I want to get the 2 next month before I do the event on January 15th. The new grills for the speakers came last week. Today my partner will be putting them on. I had one issue when they came and I saw the box on the porch. Someone opened the box. I guess it was someone who lived in the house. I know for the event next month they will be surprised and love us offering lights at the event. Now Bob before you beat me up I will only offer them if someone wants them.

Why are you investing in something that you have not trained your clientele to expect to pay for. Essentially you’re spending money on items that you’re giving for free. It’s not like you’re gonna program them via dmx and a computer to at least allow them to really stand out. They’re gonna be no better than whatever lights you have now since you’re using them in stand alone mode. You’re not even using them on towers to at least enhance your setup.

this is a poor move and money could be better invested in other items or an emergency fund

I just gave away a pair of moving heads (Orig. $1,350.00 ea). Surely, you can find something better out there that someone is trying to get rid of?

Oh okay, so a mechanic gets a new piece of fancy equipment to help his business.
But nobody knows about it because nobody comes to his garage for service.

Get gigs FIRST.
THEN update your light show.

But remember, people who see your work
will judge you on your performance
NOT on your lights.

They can add to your performance but if you do a poor job people won't think oh that DJ had some nice lights.

Looking at getting a pair of moving heads next month. I just need to ask what color should I get? White or Black?

You can place your go fund me on your Facebook page.
Adrian, do you have a business Facebook page?

That was a joke. I don't know which ones I would get if I did get at least 2 totems. I don't know how tall they should be or anything else. I know the ones I saw on Ebay, most of them are very expensive.

where is your budget and business plan?
Check out DJTaso. Hi end look.
cheap Lights has low end stuff that might be a better fit .

What is the difference between a 60W, 80W and 100W moving head besides one is more brighter then the other?

How much money will you be spending? (Budget) How large of a room will they be used for the most part?
