I'm looking at getting a pair of U king moving heads to use on a light stand.

How much money will you be spending? (Budget) How large of a room will they be used for the most part?
At most I'll say $300. I know that's not the best of the best. Just looking for something that will work. Room size depends on the room the event is in. I did an event in a room my friend has played in . The venue is in Jersey City, NJ and it's a big room. In that room you must use at least one sub or it won't sound right.

How many people on ave does the room seat? Large room to you may mean something totally different for me.
here was good advice in 2011.

What type of events are you doing? If its weddings, save your money on lighting. If it school functions, maybe some spin and pukes. To me it sounds like you need a plan more than lights or sound equipment.

$300 isn’t a good budget for one let alone two moving heads. What exactly are you trying to accomplish with this purchase?
I just ordered 2 moving heads. 100 W. I bought them to add to what we provide. To get nice pictures of the setup since I bought the new facade and helping with getting more work which might not be easy. The panic is back on and that may scare people into not having an event or cancelling an upcoming event.

2 black spinning lights don’t make the setup nicer. Totems will help that with spandex, taped down wiring, and symmetry, but more importantly, proper programming is what will really make the investment worth it. Otherwise they’re no Better than what you have right now.

brand or do you have any clue to what you have ordered?
