1- it doesn't light up a room, it just makes fancy patterns
2- it only makes fancy patterns if you buy a BUNCH of them

Actually i've gotta say...My lighting designer came in 2nd place in Chauvets most recent 4K contest. And as his prize he chose 1 one of the large versions of that bar and one of the small versions. They put off a LOT of light and look GREAT as uplights.
Oh yeah...thing thing looks awesome.
I just can't see buying a bunch of them to use as they do in the video.
Agreed , it would be too expensive for what it does, there are cheaper alternatives to do the same thing.
I just bought 2 of te Colorband Pix and they lit the room fully. Actually had to dim them to 50% they were so bright. Used them as dance floor lighting. Love these lights, mega bright.
