Damnitt that stupid new book how to gain friends and influence enemies isnt working at all. I tried to fit in with the masses and their opinion about NOOB DJS taking over. Although I must admit those damned Kijiji and CL DJs are cutting into the market confusing clients that 200 dollars (the true CL and kjiji High Rollers that assince 100 to 150 is the avg rates for a night amongst most of them) will get you anything you want!

I DVR'd it saturday. Watched my first episode yesterday. My impression?
OMFG DO THOSE DJ'S SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HOLY ISH! If I were not sick I would be ON that show. No question in my mind. I don't toot my own horn often (I would go blind if I did), but man.... I am better than every DJ I saw on there, except DJ Paul. To be fair, I haven't seen the other 4 yet, but if the first group is any indication, I am not looking forward to seeing them.
Their mixing was terrible, and that is the highest level I can give it. I can't think of a word low enough to describle some of them.
Their scratching was good on a couple of them, but again, the mixing was so horrible that it detracted from it.
They played the WHOLE SONG most of the time, when explicitly told NOT TO (and as a club DJ you shouldn't do that anyway as a rule).
Some guys just played a song, scratched over it, next song, scratched over it.
Their song selection was amazingly bad.
Their ability to read and interact with the crowd was basically non-existent.
Overall, I was thoroughly unimpressed with their lack of talent as a whole. I was literally upset. If this is the caliber of DJ that gets on that show to compete for $250,000.... I might just attempt to do Season 3, sick and all. I can DJ better than most of them even while I am sick. That in itself should show you how sad some of them are.

)Its a pretty cool show it just started season 2 that is and you can even download the app iheart radio for free and listen to their sets at certain times on Masterof the Mix station on I Heart Radio. and whats up with all the gloating up in here but I guess each their own with their opinions.

No one is gloating? Gloating is like rubbing it in someones face when you beat them at something or when you are right and they are wrong.
If you mean cockiness? Then hell yes. I am being cocky because these amateurs are going to win $250,000 and have amazing club gigs for the rest of their careers! So I am shi**y! I would have LOVED to have been on this show.
Why is it so bad for me to say that I am better than some of them? I am just confident in my abilities.
@DJ Jynxx -- You should audition for Season 3 Fan Favorite -- where viewers can vote you onto the show. I watched all of season 1 and I loved it -- slightly obsessed. Now that it's season 2 -- I think you should stick it out. The show is about these DJs growing and coming into their own style... and if you think you can do better, than def. audition!
