Well ours is "Miss Molly" Music & Sound....our little bluetick coonhound is Molly, and our kids have always called her Miss Molly.

We weren't sure about it at first and thought we wanted something "more professional sounding" but we couldnt figure out exactly that meant, so we went with that. The thing I find now is that everyone who asks about it seems to be enamored with it and how it came to be.

When we went back in to the "mobile" side of the DJ gig (we were in-house for a couple of years), we offered everything a bar could need, DJ, Karaoke, Poker Parties, Trivia Blitz. We were thier "Total Entertainment Solution".:sqwink::sqwink:

We wanted a name that would stand out compared to everyone else...a name that people would remember. Soooo...my wife came up with Muscleman Music & More. I've been a weightlifter for over 25 years so that's how she came up with the name. At first I didn't want to use it, but after creating our logo things seemed to click. People seem to get a kick out of the name too.

Winsor Weddings. I have some pretty good name recognition in this market from being on the radio. My web addy is www.daveismydj.com

When I got back into the business in 2001 I was doing many events at Knights of Columbus halls and serving as a Grand Knight in the K of C. I did not like Grand Knight Entertainment so I went with Good Knight Entertainment.

Ummm, we offer photography and dj services and our last name is Ball...so we went for the obvious....:sqwink:

Truthfully we tried out numerous names and none seemed to click with us or those that we tried the names out on....so we went the easy route. :)

As a company we started off with Joker's Wild Entertainment... hence the name I use on the boards (JokersWild) and the moniker I use DJ JokersWild.

But, after launching my first website jokerswildentertainment.com and checking search engines I was finding some rather odd results and none were too flattering or even consistent with the services I offered... some were rather tasteless.

Then one night while watching TV I saw an ad for TOTAL iMPACT wrestling event and thought cool Total Impact DJ Service.... so I got my d.b.a. under that name and eventually got an LLC for that name.... and the rest is history.

It was an epiphany. Seriously.

My father was a sound engineer (amongst other things), a few years after he died, when I went to start DJing solo, I took his company name; The Sound Reason (he loved the double meaning). I wasn’t overly fond of it, yet could never think of anything else I liked. So fast forward a few years and I’m looking to come out of semi-retirement as a DJ. I know I wanted to start as a wedding only operation, so I didn’t want to use the old company name again (although I do still use it for SR work). To be perfectly honest, I can’t stand most typical DJ company names, no offense to anybody. So I knew I wanted/needed something unique.

I really don’t know how it came to me. I had the tag line ready “Fun, Unforgettable, Uniquely Yours” and I think I was just repeating that over and over in my head and the name just happened to roll after it.
“Fun, Unforgettable, Uniquely Yours…Your Wedding Entertainment.”

I immediately loved how it subtly implied that we are already “Your” entertainment. And it would allow me to branch out later by adding Your Party Entertainment and Your Mitzvah Entertainment (yes, I already own the domains and have actually already started using both names).

When I was primarily using A & E Mobile Entertainment, it was named after my daughters Abby and Emily, but now I am switching over to YourPhillyDJ.com

I named it that because I want to be "Your Philly DJ"..... :sqerr:

I originally worked for the guy then he sold out and I bought it

short story and have had it ever since
