I just snagged some 11ga 4-wire speaker cables (Pro Co) with Neutrik NL4 end's
for a Buck a foot!!

(2) 50's & (2) 25's..

From what i can find online, Normal price is $3.97 a foot without the ends.

Just buy some regular good quality power cord and add your own ends. Never could see a difference in speaker cable and power cord.

yea, I bought all my 12g 4wire cable at home depot a couple years ago for 60 bucks per 100ft spool. I think I bought all they had at the time. Can't remember if it was SOOW or SJ, probably the SJ, but for speaker wire, I don't think it matters so much for electrical codes.

SO cord that's made for speaker system use is often branded as "oxygen free". How much difference it makes is debateable.

I knew there might be slight change in resistance but I always thought the main reason was to slow corosion

that was a good read. Does anyone know the formula for calculating a whiles resistance? It didn't have it listed.

hmm, find me some more 6/4 or 4/4 feeder cable? It has to be SOOW though, no J stuff for power where people can walk on it!
