Did I hear someone mention tempo lock? Or key lock????
Still waiting...waiting...waiting...![]()
Damn, you folks are still trying to get me to do yer job for you...

I'd have to raise my rates to $1200 for that

Still trying to find a Tempo/Key Lock button or a Skin Tutorial button...

Still not sure what folks use that stuff for...
LOL! I like to bump up Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch so people can really groove to it without the Four Tops sounding like the Four Alvins!
Here's another little ditty. Rockit can now replace most soundboard type software that radio jocks use (and costs lots of money). So, if for instance you use somebody else's DJ software (commie), you can also have Rockit running along with it for drops, sound effects and songs as well

Rick,
I would like this.
How?

Nice...Crush is a good tune!

Fair enough Boss, but I bring forth a philosophical and legal question or two...
In order to do tempo/key lock (time stretching/shrinking as its actually called), one has to either delete samples, or introduce new samples into a track. In the case of speeding up a song, you must remove samples -- to slow it down, you must introduce samples.
By doing so, you have changed the original recording, and made it your own, without the owners permission.
By using pitch only, you do not change the original source material, only slow down, or speed up the playback of the samples. Same with EQ, you are not changing the samples, only amplifying some of them.
If Joe Blow rockstar gets down on his luck, and needs some cash -- he can easily sue, and win on those grounds.
So far, to the best of my knowledge, nobody has brought suit for that yet... Give it time, and it will happen though -- I don't intend to be the test case![]()

I freaking LOVE the analog meters! And the round Teac reel to reel style play/stop buttons and the rotary EQ.
When you say a "wee bit more time"...what does that mean exactly? I know you shut in types tend to tell time differently from the rest of us.![]()

Well, we tell the time, by the amount of beer we drink around these parts -- one beer == about 60 minutes, which means there are 24 beers in a day
A "wee bit of time", is usually just a pallet or two...![]()
