I am only repeating facts that have been stated by others long in advance of this post. The truth may hurt for some. Go back and look for yourself, there are people who have posted exactly what I stated. Don't try to make me look bad for others who have done it for themselves. :rolleyes:

No, we'd never go as far as covering something up on our own. It's not our "house." ;) Ditto, on the not putting a banner up at a wedding. To me it screams "cheapness" and "tackiness."

As far as the space issues, we pick our battles very carefully.

Steve, I'm pretty sure that's what happened. I've talked to a couple of my buddies in our local ADJA chapter and one of us will get the story on this. And no, I wouldn't want to make the same offer (especially to this venue). ;)

That was pretty much the original idea, but I wanted to see what others had to say. Hey, it's a "professional" chatroom and we're all "professional chatters.." ;)

I have a table cloth with my company name and logo on it and i use it every show i do, i wouldn't worry about the out door banner

Seriously, Kirby, perhaps you should ask about it. Maybe they'll understand why you don't want it there.
If you blacklist the place, you never get the chance to show them what YOU can do!
Who knows, maybe they'll like you better and want YOUR banner to hang there.
