the Dollar Dance
It is now called the Bailout Dance

Ron I am really sorry to hear that. I hope everyone can get over it soon.
the Dollar Dance

If I were king of the Wedding World, 2 things would immediately be gone: The garter part of garter / bouquet, and the Dollar Dance... Now, fortunately, in my area, it does seem like the Dollar Dance has gone extinct... I find that TOTALLY TASTELESS.
?:sqconfusedspecial Greek dance
It's awkward for the bride and the groom tries to make it look funny and then it's weird for the guy who catches it to put it on the girl who caught the bouquet.
I still don't get what is supposed to be so special having the bridal party who didn't know each other before the wedding dance with each other.
Sometimes, it's EXACTLY what makes it entertaining!
of course, it depends on the crowd.
not just a tradition, it's a chance for the photographer to get a nice, candid shot of the couples. I know, my wife enjoyed having them.
As for the poor guy and gal at your wedding...
I had a 14-year old girl catch the bouquet...
and a 30-something football player catch the garter.
never saw a look of horror like that...before or since!
needless to say, we congratulated them both and skipped the rest!
(to which they were BOTH grateful)
I aim to please!!!You know, I really should have thought that through more before I typed that one. There's a special group line dance thingy.
(and yes, I'm sure in some manner somebody is gonna turn this comment perverted as well)

See, now here's the difference with some of us guys, or at least with me. If I came home and found my wife in bed with another women all I'd say is "can we keep her".Ron,
As many others have said it is best she found out he was Gay before the wedding!
My second wife came home and found her third husband in bed with another man!
She was an emotional wreck for two years after that.

*lol* We are so NOT doing the Electric Boogie or the Chicken Dance!!
We are doing the tosses, but no garter placement (there would be someone killed down here from that). We are not doing a wedding party dance, but we are doing a traditional first dance.

We're just simple folks, with simple needs -- the DJ's job, is to shut up, and fulfill those needs![]()

Yeah, to each their own. Which is why we don't want those things. I have done the chicken dance too many times for one persons lifetime.
