Ok, so "blogging" is the new 'must-do' to stay in business...
Or is it?
Looking at a couple of blog sites this afternoon -both DJ-related, I see something that I wonder is this a common thread?
One blog had an entry from a DJ who wants you to be a "Perfect HOST at Events"
That person posted the jpg of a Prime Cuts weekly song list. He mentions that he'll post the list weekly. Ok, he posts it for 2 consecutive weeks in May '09 & then nothing since then.
Another blog from another DJ - saying I'll post a monthly trivia question & the winner will win a signed copy of my book.
Only see one such thread.
Then Ron mentions the notable absence/irregularity of the "monthly" 1% news letter - Yes, I consider this an "early blog". Well, what would you call it?
SO - Recapping, here 3 (or so) blogs from DJs that promise one thing, but fall short in there delivery.
Is this is what should be expected from them in other aspects?
Am I reading too much into this / or not, as the case may be?
Cheers,
Joe
