What is the average setup cost to start in the bubble party business?

Only speaking from my experience so far, I have spent about $1000+ in additional equiptment and marketing. However, I already have more than that amount in bookings. Your mileage may vary.

Email has been sent to all Bubble Parties DJs.

BTW, let's not let this thread die just because of the new message board.

We can still discuss aspects of the program here, but use the new message board for more "sensitive" stuff.

There's a separate forum for Bubble Party people? Do you have to have bought the plan to sign up or can you view certain sections?

When you buy the business plan, you'll be given the URL of the forum. Once you've registered and the board admin (me!) authorizes the registration you can view and post.

General info I have no problem posting on this board. The nitty gritty is why I created that other board.

Did my first two official Bubble Parties last week and I have to say, John you are a frigging genius!!!

Here are the only possible issues to consider if you are thinking about buying his business plan...first, you absolutely MUST enjoy entertaining, playing with and just being around young children...second, you should not have a problem acting like a complete fool for an entire hour...and third, you should be in good enough physical shape to act like a complete fool for an entire hour (outdoors in the middle of the summer)...but hey, I needed to lose some weight anyways.

Otherwise, these parties are an absolute blast! The whole thing is just amazing...the kids, the bubbles, the smiles, laughs and the fun. And it is easy money (except for the 60 minutes of non-stop activity during the actual party), these schools call and basically ask "when can you come?"...there is little to no sales effort on your part, other then getting your name out there.

John, I said it before and I'll say it again...the plan is worth much more than you are charging for it.

Awesome! You said it, Wayde If you enjoy being with and entertaining children and you are in good enough physical shape. I find myself being especially conscientious about going to the gym when I know a bubble party is coming up as it is a workout.....coming soon to your local video store "The Bubble Party Workout"! :sqlaugh::sqlaugh::sqlaugh::sqlaugh::sqlaugh:

I've had many an adult ask me if there is an adult version. Hmmmmmm....:sqerr:

Thank you, John, for a great plan!

I am the Bubble Party Iron Man!

Talk about a Bubble Party work out...

I just booked three Bubble Parties for next Friday. Two are back to back at the same school in the morning, then one that afternoon at a different school.

You beat me.... I have 2 booked on one day, but not 3...

Congrats guys! The most I ever did was 2, one in the morning, one in the late afternoon and by the end of the second, I was more drained than if I had done a wedding.

I hope your bookings continue to grow.

Because of me having a full time job and most people wanting this done thru the week, I have to take a vacation day from work. To make this more effecient & not use all my vacation time on the bubble parties, I have alloted only certain days that I will be available (usually a Friday). I have successfully persuaded many daycares to plan the party around those dates. Several times this spring and early summer, I have done 4 parties in one day. Makes for a nice pay day, but I'm pooped at the end. My son has been a huge help. I can't wait until he gets his license and can take this portion of the business over. He's great with kids!

Bubble Party People- I have a party tomorrow at 11am. It's supposed to be around 95 here tomorrow with excessive heat warnings. Of course, that's a perfect day for bubbles.

Opinions? I think the daycare lady wants to move inside. Your professional advice?

Thanks!

Rick

I did one in 95 degrees. The kids did NOT have fun. But, that said, I would not do one inside.... Too many potential problems for me...
