I use it, I don't think Taso does.
I'm happy to talk through how I use it, and I was thinking about putting together a video on this subject because there seems to be a lot of confusion around how it works.
Basically there are three modes:
1) Autoloops
2) Scripted Tracks
3) Static Scenes
Autoloops play whenever there is music on, but no scripted track. Think of them like an automatic mode, but they will still match your beat grid. So it's like a more advanced version of a sound activated system. - Autoloops are the first thing you should spend time editing, because they will be on 99% of the time when you start using SoundSwitch.
Scripted Tracks allow you to program a show to the track itself. So if you want your lights to do the same thing every time you play a specific song - this is what you do. It will remember movement and color cues, and bring them back at the same spot every time you're playing this song. Scripted tracks will override the Autoloops.
Static Scenes are any static look that you want temporarily, or for a while. So for example.. cake cutting. If you want your movers to spotlight the cake, you can hit a button and send them into your cake scene. You tap the button again, it goes back to what they were doing.
I also use them for slow dances in general. I don't want nearly as much movement during slow dances, so I will have a static scene that is much more calm so that I don't ruin the mood.
I hope that helps, but I'm happy to walk you through more of it if there are additional questions.
