Hewlett Packard, Memorex and Sony ALL make CDs that can be marked with Sharpies. Staples, K-Mart, Office Max, they're everywhere.. These are marked with designated lines (ie. "Title" or "Contents") and are very easy to find. Kinda confused about the question.
Simple Joe... Memorex makes a DVD with a white surface that has the texture of flat paint. It is designed to write on the disc and stop sharpie ink from eating away at the disc... I just haven't been able to find the CD equivalent of it.
