Have any of you been to this hotel before....Will most of you be staying there? Is this Hotel close to the strip? I looked at the seminar subjects....looks good. If my wife wanted to just tour the exhibition hall would we have to pay for her also ($199)? My thinking about bringing my wife is, besides wanting to be with her, I just spent some substanial dollars on 4 new speakers???? That's how you stay together for 41 years!... :monekywink:
 
The new hotel is not that close to the strip... they have a shuttle I hear.. it is a new placeand doesn't smell like smoke.. :)
 
I am going to be staying at the South Point hotel also, where the convention is. From looking at it online there are quite a few activities there as well. When I phoned them I had to let them know that I was with the convention to get the discount.

OK......What time was dinner monday night, and where? We (My Wife & I) will be attending the convention....My First as a DJ. We are arriving Sunday night, leaving Friday. I've made reservations at the host hotel, and I have gotten my registration. We are Looking forward to making a lot of new friends..., and learning a lot of new things.We are driving down from Sacramento on Sunday. See You There!!
 
The first night Monday the 19th we will be having dinner at the hotel where the conference is. There are several restaurants in the hotel, we have chosen the one with the most choices, the buffet http://www.southpointcasino.com/dini...den-buffet.php . We are going to be meeting in the front of the restaurant at 5:30 pm. Cocktails after dinner and then to the game show hosted by mobile beat.

We are also looking at planning something for Wednesday night, we will let you know as plans develop.

I am really looking forward to meeting you and your wife! So glad that you decided to go!
 
Man the one time in 6 years there would be something to look forward to and a reason to go, and I can't make it :sqmad:

What shows have you booked already? Where can I get a schedule of who is appearing there that week. I don't know if anyone noticed but the NBA all star break starts 2-15 or 16 thru the 18th the day of the game?

Sunday the 18th, we're going to "Tony & Tina's Wedding". Tuesday at 10PM, we're going to Lance Burton at the Monte Carlo, and Wednesday at 1PM we're going to Mac King at Harrahs.

Monday night we're planning on meeting all of you at the buffet.

Lance and Mac are magicians... and since I am too, I had to see them again. Seen them both several times, and it's worth every penny.
 
I have my flight reservations and I am booked at the South Point.

I will most likely rent a car. Anyone else getting one?
 
Steve & I will be in Vegas again. Not sure if we can make the monday night buffet yet but will keep it in mind. We fly in monday afternoon and leave early saturday a.m. Staying at my sister's house; will have my cell when I'm not onsite.
 
Okay Im arriving at LV International at 2:30 Monday. I will have the additional plan ironed out this week and we can detewrmine who all will be a part of our family that night as well.

We should be able to make one of them work; Wed might be better as monday night I will have to pick up my sister at the airport (don't know what time yet). We're staying at her house and will 'steal' her car when we get into town; she will be back in town later. Monday might be time with the sis. We'll make a point to make one of them tho! Looking forward to meeting you as well!
