You can... believe it or not the Ots format isn't really a format at all... it's a container file like Zip... just use Ots Studio and convert back to mp3... btw the conversion isn't really a conversion... all you are really doing is taking the mp3 out of the Ots container.... you will have to spend time tag correcting. But, it can be done... and then you can ditch OtsAV and leave it to those that are more capible of using it.
You're assuming too much.
I have over 7 years of experience with Ots.
I have over 7 years of experience with other DJ software including Serato, VDJ, PCDJ, CDJP and various others.
I work on more than my own equipment, and own multiple setups, so I am not bound to a single system or software.
I already have original CDs, MP3, VOB, MPEG, and Ots versions of my music collection ready for use on a variety of systems.
I've had plenty of time to try Ots on different machines and with multiple drivers, etc.
I've had plenty of time to see how the company develops and supports the program.
It serves no purpose now to keep an Ots version of the music library because the other progams are more versatile than Ots.
In hind sight, creating an Ots version was a waste of time. I have not encountered any club or system anywhere that uses or is even aware of Ots.
