Very sweet stuff you are doing man... Same with your logo/business card a month or so back. Don't worry about the "goth" thing... It is kind of a vibe given off, but there's nothing wrong with that at all.
It keeps you cutting edge and relevant and makes you fresh.
My whole thing is... who cares if the overall vibe is a little darker?
That isn't an oxymoron for a Christian based business anymore. It's no longer "grandmas church." In my late teens, for example, I listened to a lot of Christian thrash/speed, and death metal which many would think somehow "contradicts" the notion of the "Christian band." Now there are Christian black metal bands that are doing things rivaling the "anti-christian" bands they were influenced by.
A dark scheme, or a "darker vibe" won't alienate as much, if at all, like you might think. Those bands in my teens made it "okay" to be a person of faith and listen to the kinds of musics I was already listening to at the time. Likewise with your new marketing designs, it won't be the same-ol run of the mill stuffy "conservative" marketing done by your contemporaries.
It keeps you, AS WELL AS that faith you hold so dearly and wish to communicate, relevant and accessible to a whole new generation - it keeps you fresh and modern.
So "GOTH-AWAY"... Your natural instincts are your friend, and some would say were GIVEN TO YOU to USE, so USE THEM! Being modern, relevant, artistic, and emotional through the use of light AND DARKNESS is WHAT YOU DO my friend.... keep it showing in how you present yourself to the world!
