Great video.

I'm thinking of doing a video as well.

Do I hire someone to do it or do I do it myself?

I have one local guy who does video, but he's friends with the competition.

What programs are out there if I want to do it myself?

Jokerwild, did you start with a storyboard or just shot wild and edit.

I was at the mercy of the videographer.... he offered to shoot some footage and then he put together the video.... so no. No preplanned setup or anything...

To do it right for sure you'd want to pay a professional to do the video shoot and possibly the editing as well.... for sure it would cost less than purchasing video equipment and editing software and then there's the time to learn that software to the point of being able to put together a professional video....

I'd ask Hank for advice on this though.

I thought you had paid for it
in which case you could have made some changes.

I totally agree with "trade"
I had a videographer who made copies of my wedding video
in trade for voicing some narration on a corporate presentation.
maybe you can arrange a similar deal.
try and find an upstart web design/video guy
who will want to use the video he makes for you
as a calling card for himself.
