Stanton RM416 is what i use & recommend . It has more features & a better layout than the other Stanton mixer featured here. And is around the same price. It has 3 mic inputs.

RE: Self contained from Houston...

What I been doing for several years - it does get you noticed.

Well I missed out on that Numark that was for sale, so am kind of stuck back at the starting point.

Any other suggestions on mixer/case/laptop stand combo keep them coming, am processing everything and still looking around before we make a decision. We are in no rush since everything we have is in working order now.

Then you have time to save another note or two for the pot and get what you'll be happy with. Unless a great deal comes along, you're trying to get a bowling ball in the side pocket of a pool table.

Yeah that is what we are going to do, at this point just kind of going back the drawing board and looking for suggestions. I know someone said they may have a Denon available in the near future, so am just kind of waiting for a deal like that before we decide anything.

A dj friend of mine had the denon 500 mixer & wasn't happy with the sound from it , ended up selling it. Hes happy with the stanton RM416 though & so am i.

Wow Randy....were you doing a few gig's in Iraq?? That has to be the dirtiest mixer i've ever seen..Scratchy pot's ever a problem??

I don't have a clue how it gets so damn dirty. It's always got a lid and stored in a trailer. Never a problem with scratchy pots. I knew it was dirty, but the photo made it look 2X as bad. All is good now though, all the equipment was given a good cleaning last weekend. It looks brand new again.
