I think Kevin ate at the Riviera Buffet last night. I told him he looks o.k. and the spots should go away soon. :sqerr:

Normal price is ~ $6000, but I paid much, much less. :sqwink:

This includes all the covers and cabling too!

I've been told by the staff at NLFX (please somebody correct me if I am mistaken) it will handle 350-400 people.

I don't know how it compares?

The system isn't listed on their site is called a D-Lite 1002 and consists of this;

2 - D8s: http://www.dynacord.com/wDynacord/e...id=7&category_id=1&family_id=1&product_id=178

1 - Powersub 312: http://www.dynacord.com/wDynacord/e...d=7&category_id=2&family_id=54&product_id=188

1 - Passive Sub 112: http://www.dynacord.com/wDynacord/e...id=7&category_id=1&family_id=1&product_id=180

Powered sub is 48#, unpowered sub 42#. Tops weigh 19#

Don't believe I've ever heard the Dynas...

Bring 'em over Keith, we'll audition them on the farm :)

BTW, many people spend more than that on Mickey D's in a year -- and it just goes out the other end.

Wise investment my friend :sqbiggrin:

*Disclaimer* Please, I mean no disrespect to the Bose owners, I am only relaying my personal experience in the NLFX/EV/Dynacord demo room this afternoon.

I guy comes into the room and is admiring my set up. I told him I had purchased one the day before. His desire was to enhance his low end by just purchasing the two subs to go with his Bose set up.

Michael, Travis and I spoke with him, we turned it up to a good listening volume and you should have seen the guys jaw drop.

I told him he needed the whole system. He said his wife wouldn't appove a purchase in that amount.

After the gear giveaway, he came back, bought the demo system and wheeled it out.

That is priceless. I love it.:sqlaugh:

You have a great thread report going on here Keith. Thank you for keeping us in mind with this thread. Awesome play by play. Thanks.

It's great that you are putting faces to some of the more popular names on the boards. I thought Jim and Michael would have been 2 old dudes. They look younger than me!

Keep up the great work and enjoy your stay in Vegas.

They look like a great setup

What would a setup like this cost, weight and how many people would it be able to handle? compared to an RCF setup (750 Sub and 2 310's?)

Going by the spec's, the RCF set-up would eat the Dyna's. That is a pretty low output sub at 121dB compared to 130dB for the RCF. Even if you add the slave, I doubt that you would get much more out of it since the amp is 800 watts into 4 ohms with the drivers rated at 8 ohms. So normally you'd be getting 400 to the built-in woofer and when a second is added, they would each get 400 RMS. Compared to 800 RMS for the one RCF sub. Also, if the sub breaks down, you are majorly screwed. With the 705 / 310 set-up, you would keep chugging along.

I would choose any high quality active sub with two high quality active tops over an all-in-one for the above reason; every time! Whatever the brand...

With that being said, the Dyna's are very well made and sound awesome for sure. Very nice stuff indeed.

Another benefit from being here at the show and a NLFX VIP customer;

All the Chauvet Rain56 LEDs that they used for DMX after dark were being sold for $89, you take them home or ship them back to yourself.

Judy & I were at David Copperfield, so I didn't go to the class to get in on the deal...or so I thought. I asked if they had any left - nope all gone.

Not to worry, I'll be receiving 10 NEW Rain56s for the same price with free shipping.

Thank you Ben! :sqcool:

Judy just paid for our dinner tonight, she hit $268 on a quarter slot.

Then we ran into Ben, Travis, Kat, Michael & Heath. They're heading over to the Plams - Playboy Club, where there is a Dynacord permanent install. Have fun guys!

Steve,

Thanks for the technical save.

I am confident this is ALL I will ever need for my mostly-wedding clients.
