Hey All,

We just got into Vegas, picked up a RAV4 rental and checked in to the Riviera.

Judy surprised me for Valentines Day and bought tickets for :

Elton John & the Red Piano tonight

&

David Copperfield Wednesday night.

I don't know what I did to deserve that?

We're here until next Sunday, so Friday morning we'll be heading out to the Grand Canyon. I rented a cabin right on the South Rim. Check in there is at 4 pm, so we can see the sunset Friday evening and watch the sunrise on Saturday morning. Then we'll take a ride along the rim and on the way out of the park, we're going to catch a helicotper ride across the canyon in the afternoon.

I'll keep you updated on the convention as time allows.

Later.

As we were picking up the car to get to Cesars Palace, I spotted Steve Sharp. Sorry we couldn't talk longer, we were almost late for the show.

Now that we're back all I can say is, WOW!

I don't even know how to begin to describe this, but here's a snapshot of the show;

A huge curved screen-with 5 naked Pamela Anderson's dancing, giant inflatable legs with high heels on the stage, 30' giant inflatble breasts with 12" long N**** hanging in one corner, kick-ass sound, at least 60 moving head lights and tons of neon signs.

One of them read "Never enough muff"

During 'Tiny Dancer' they lowered a 12" mirror ball and pointed 16 of the movers down on it.

This wasn't as raunchy of a show as it sounds, but I'm too tired to get into any more details. Gotta get up early and take Judy shopping, pick up my passes for the convention and then hit the links.

I noticed JT's post last night about taking the Duece to get his rental, WRONG! I gave him a call this morning to offer to drive him over to the McCarran rental center. So I got a cup of coffee AND my JT fix this morning.

My golfing partner Michael Doucot just phoned. Apparently his plane has "mechanical problems" and I just saw on the news there's a 70% chance of rain today. :sqeek:

depending on which way the current flows might help the handicap LOL. Sorry Keith couldnt resist. I must thaank you publically here and gaining the Hired Power fix is likely the best way to roll into my first class. Thats what friends are for and I thank ya.

I got JT to the rental place without incident.

Judy and I found some good deals on clothes at the Fashion Show Mall.

Michael's flight got cancelled and is taking another one through Salt Lake City. He won't be here in time for golf. :sqfrown:

I got my convention pass and am looking forward to seeing everyone that's here at the welcome party tonight.

Papa, if you're reading this, the Welcome party and concert Tuesday are free according to the MB staff. I have had to pay to get Judy in those events in the past. They said they wanted to try something different. I don't remember seeing that on their site this year. It might have gone a long way towards encouraging spouses to come to Vegas, if everyone would have known that?

Here's a couple shots from our room this morning.

help me out,,, is the pool suppose to be shaped like something, or just kinda cool, shape. I'm looking but I can't see it..

If yas wanna rub Chuck's nose in it, post pics of all the folks waving and saying Hi to Chuck. Wish you were here.

That'll fix him. :D

Brendon, it was the fact that the 16 movers were 30 or 40 feet above the mirror ball and I have never seen so many "tiny dancing" lights like that before all over the Coluseum.

Got it... I just couldn't imagine that a 12-inch mirror ball would give off an effect big enough to fill the Coliseum.

Thanks for the clarification.
