Where will you find the funds to buy junk you don't need. You come up with the crazyest ##t Adrian.
Do you not give your partner advice, this sounds more like a friend who also DJ’s. In a True partnership decisions are made together in the best interest of the partnership and costs and expenses are shared equallyI didn't say anything about me buying more subs. That's what my partner was talking about.
Tomorrow I have to meet up with the guy that's a promoter. He has a bunch of stuff he wants me to check out to see if I'm interested in anything. He was planning to throw stuff in the garage and decided to see if I wanted some of the stuff. He said he has a duplicator, speakers and some other stuff. I will see what's what.
You should shake them down a few times before the park gig. Are they setup in your apartment?Let me say my partner tested them out in my buddies house and so far ok. We will have to see how they are in a real application. Certainly we will be using them in Branch Brook Park this year for the event we've done over the years. That will be the real test. My partner said he might get a couple of more subs. My buddy has a pair of EV dual 15" speakers I believe that my partner are interested in buying. I will need to get the model number of the speakers. We'll see how things go.
I had a couple pairs of the original Makie SRM 450’s, the Italian built ones, they were solid and reliable and were a good speaker for their time

Reread what I posted. My partner bought the subs. That means he spent his money. Now haven’t I had DJs on here saying when was my partner going to buy some stuff? He's doing it. Don't say we won't be using these things. We will.Where will you find the funds to buy junk you don't need. You come up with the crazyest ##t Adrian.

You are not gonna find anyone on here who is going to be a fan of that subThanks. Now let me ask you this question. What do you think of that sub?
You are not gonna find anyone on here who is going to be a fan of that sub.
well that's easy. Their Boat anchors. And there not even good for that.
Thanks for your advice. What you suggested can happen with any sub and tops. I have heard where a DJ had too much bass and it canceled out the tops. It takes experience to know this.If your asking me, I would not have them. That's a 114 lbs. I don't want to move. Plus I don't think the specs are where there at. But hey. if your happy enjoy.
Am glad it.s you moving them, not me. Now if your going use these with your QSC 12.2 I think your going to run into mismatch sound problems. You should of went to Zounds.com and got yourself a QSC KS112. there only 63 lbs. and on wheels. True there only a 12 In. Sub. but it's a lot easier to move and load.
And Bass is only for sound reinforment. To much bottom end kills the tops. and to much tops kills the bottem. But I wish you luck but I think your headed for disaster.
Outdated, problematic, and underpowered.Thanks. Now let me ask you this question. What do you think of that sub?
And way too heavy for mobile work.Outdated, problematic, and underpowered.
Not really. We've used a pair of Yorkville 801P subs and those are heavier than the Mackies. The difference is they have wheels on them. And way too heavy for mobile work.
i"m looking at selling the pair of Earth Quakes we have.Did you read my earlier post about parting out the plate amps and original driver from the 801p’s, selling them and putting a few 100’s in your pocket?
Depending on the exact model those are a far better sub than the Mackiesi"m looking at selling the pair of Earth Quakes we have.
