I have a mint set of Yorkville NX 750's for sale if you are interested. I am selling them with the covers and 2 sets of power cords. The original 6' and the 25' 12 gauge power cords. 700.00 each. Let me know and I can send you pictures by email.
Ive got two setups Patrick:
My first one has the Bose setup:
The other has the Mackie 1530's"
I bought those Pyle Pros last year, which everyone says is junk. So scratch that backup. I have my old srm450s with the 1501s....but the 1501's just dont seem what they used to be.
So that leaves me with..
2 reliable sets of speakers...and no backups:
I have been making sure to buy backups for everything I have right now. I have mixers/conditioners/cables/lights you name it for backup..just not (IMO) reliable speakers.
I could probably just as well sell the Pyle Pros..and the Mackie 450's and 1501's. I won't be using them anytime soon.
And when I buy these speakers..I will keep them ready for backup. And then when a current speaker goes..(which hopefully aint for many years)..I have back up ready to rock.
Backup to me is just a crucial as the initial setup. Now its time to get everything I need to do the job adequately.
After this purchase....I have a business formula of percentages of what money goes where.
For example 25% taxes, 40% Into the account..(until I build it up to a goal I have set)...and the rest will go as a wage.
That way..when a speaker does go down, I will be able to write the check easily, and then start building the business account up again.
So yes I got a plan..but let's get backups out of the way.

Just sent you a pm as well.

Get a pair of ZXA5's. Probably one of the best full range 15" powered speakers around.
Honestly it doesn't matter to me what you spend your money on I'm just trying to make sense of what it is you are trying to accomplish here.

Let me see if I've got this right....
You own a Bose L1 with bass bin
You own a set of Mackie 450's and 1501 subs
You own a set of Pyle Pro speakers...
You want to purchase another L1 and bass bins and anouther set of speakers (powered) for your back up system.
Is that it in a nutshell?
Are you supplying the gear to the DJ's you are subing out to? If so I can understand what you are doing.
If not.... why do you need sooooooo many backup systems... did you know the Bose system once you get your second set is a backup in of itself? You already have the Mackie System so there's a third backup already to the Bose or vice versa...

The 750s kick some serious ass.....
Adam the thing you have to remember is you are using these speakers for backup. The odds are they will never come out of the van. Unless you do something stupid the speakers are the last thing in the chain that will go
Backups don't need to be extreme quality they are need to get you through

Ya and here's one more you cranky old bastid....![]()

Thanks! No they do not have to be totally kick arse...but..but..if my current speakers go..I am ready to fill in the next batch.
Maybe this is a stupid theory..I dont know. :sqembarrassed:

The Mackie 450s I am still in love with...so we could mate those with one bad apple sub. Like a LS800...or two? Not sure.
And I really the portability of the Bose..which is why I would like to buy another set. We just have way too many upstairs venues at this point to really think about buying some heavy speakers.
