You did - I posted the quote. Here it is again
So if YOU did not say it, then who did?
See above.
Sounds like he didn't fix the problem, he avoided it.
Uhmm, according to the previous line, you said it was Windows 7?
It sounds like the person that fixed it doesn't either
Highly doubt this was a Windows Vista problem. Also, a Verizon Tech is not there to resolve problems unrelated to their software and / or hardware - so this means nothing.
Sure, the problem may not be there at the moment, but it didn't get fixed.
You also did not respond to the comments about taking it to a professional, which would have addressed, researched and resolved the problem appropriately. Here is the post:
I also agree with what Jimmy posted - you talk / complain that people should be coming to the professional DJ's .. and that they should step up and pay for quality service, but then you take your machine to a 'partner' that's been 'working on computers for years' to fix it. Why wouldn't you take it to a professional IT person?
This 'partner' does not sound like someone I'd be bringing my machines to for support. I do not know this person - he may be a very knowledgeable, smart, professional, quality, certified tech person - but the way you've portrayed him is that he knows very little about machines.
