I remember some of that stuff.. my sister wore the poodle skirt and saddle shoes... I was a pup through the 50's...

Well a lot depends on the area you were raised in, a lot of the fifties bleed over into some of the less urban areas of the country, (just ask Fred) here in Madison we were watching brand new episodes of Gunsmoke in the 1980's.
