Wow u ask for suggestion when u already pick out what you wanted.. Dell... You got to be kidding me... Dell a joke.. I work on em here at work and it worse than any laptop/desktop I've seen... I steer clear from Dell and won't even look at them even if it worth my money... Look like many DJs are going for Apple's.:D

You haven't seen my bullets, have you...? I use Cor Bon in my pistols, and Rusky Brown Bear in my rifles -- could take the laptop, and your SUV out with one shot -- now if I could only stop falling down the stairs while taking the garbage out, I'd be doing good ;)

I actually have a couple Dells, courtesy of your tax dollars -- they work ok, But they are in storage, and haven't been used much lately. The older, heavy black one works better than the shiny new one.

I've been pretty much sticking with the Acer and ASUS for the last two years -- more bang for your buck I think...

I like the Corbon +P stuff .. Not a fan of Russian steel cased stuff. For cheap shooting I like PMC or Lake City steel core.

The Brown Bear Russian stuff is pretty decent in my experience (and not that expensive). You can also get the Wolf or Silver Bear for a reasonable price. I've taken out 3 hard drives lined up with one round. Almost no cleaning is needed -- chamber/barrel stays good.

I feel sorry for the folks that use 223's -- lightweight, but God forbid the wind blows, they become worthless after more than like 25 yards.

While the 55gr stuff sucks, the 68gr .223 isn't as bad in the wind. I like .223s .. I have 4. Have a few larger caliber as well, but the .223 is fun.

I do like Asus. I switched to them when they came out with the P3B which used the Intel Coppermine. Talk about fast! Holy crap! Been using them ever since.

I special ordered all my Dells even my Desktop. The previous Laptop was Special ordered in Dan 2006 and still runs with my DJ and Karaoke Software. I upgrades to the Special ordered XPS for the HDMI Capability which the Inspiron did not have.

Was that before or after Christ? BTW, congrats Danno - I didn't know you had your own calendar.

Could you make up your mind whether you "custom" ordered, or "special" ordered your off the shelf stuff...?

Sorry but I got to bust your chops on this one! You talk about me not listening to the advice given and you'RE stubborn as a mule on this subject. I agree with Steve all the way! Why over work one single laptop when 2 will do the same job as the one? Why take a chance on the one laptop crashing because It's over loaded. I say get the other laptop that great for running certain programs you have and use the other one for the remaining programs you want to run. What is the problem you're too lazy to use 2 laptops? If one crashes and you can't reboot it up do you carry a backup laptop.

I was a boy scout as a kid and their motto was be prepared. In other words better to be safe then sorry. If one laptop fails at least you'll have the other one already running so the show can still go on. Oh maybe it's you don't know how to hook up 2 laptops to work at the same time. LOL!

Mix you have NO IDEA how a computer works at all

Oh and no one mentioned Solid State Hard Drives at all ???

that would have been my FIRST PICK

I do have an idea of how a computer works. I'm just not the biggest computer wiz in the world. I was busting his chops just to make fun of him. Nothing that serious. He'll still do what he feels will work best for him. He's been doing this a long time.

I like to think of it this way. I have a QSC 2450 amp still in the basement that works great. It's a great amp. Now as great an amp it is I certainly wouldn't want to over load the amp by working it too hard. I just wouldn't ask it to do too much for fear of destroying the amp and having to get it repaired. That's why I wouldn't buy a single laptop to all of the stuff Canute wants to. I hope it works out for him though.

yeah so whats that got to do with COMPUTER SPECS ???????

I have to resist!!
