I would have a problem with what he did if he took the pictures of their setup and then showed us his. So that way we could see the difference. That way someone could get the ideal on here of how a setup should not look at a wedding and how it should look at a wedding. I could respect that. This i have no respect for. Sorry but that's how i feel.

You said he's doing quite well. If he is then why is he looking at those DJ's as being his competition for that night and why is he even posting those pictures and making this thread. My complaint isn't just with him but anybody that would put down another DJ and not willing to talk about themselves and what they do. If i did the same thing i would have been looked at with disgust.
 
Mix, if you did a search of the fourm you will find that Rick has posted plenty of pictures of his set-up. Maybe you should do your research before you call out another member.;)

I'm done with this comment. He didn't do it on this thread. That's what counts right now. Try to remember i'm not just talking about him but it could be anyone of us i'm talking about here if we did what he did. Ity's not just about him showing his setup that night although it is but more about keeping the focus where it belongs on him and what did he do for the client that booked him that they liked or disliked him.

I would say t6he same thing about me if i were in that position. Did i do a good job that the client that booke4d me was happy they did. So now3 that he made this thread about those DJ's and posted those pictures will they get to see this and see what they need to change. I doubt it. They will probably still continue on doing things the way they did there if someone books them again. I pray that if they stay in this business a while longer that they learn the things they need to learn and make improvements where they need to. It just may take another DJ to become friends with these guys and show them how they should do things better. Not with just equipment but how they dress at events and what their setup looks like. Not just the equipment they are using. All that i found out can make a big difference in a potential client taking you seriously and wanting to spend some good money on your services.

It's not ramblings. It's about talking about you and not what someone else can or can not do. Or what their setup should or should not look like4. If you're too chicken to talk about you then how can you down grade someone else
? I'm not saying that Ricky is a bad DJ at all. For all i know he might be a better DJ then me. But what was the point of him taking those pictures and putting them up here? Was it so we can have a great laugh? What was the point?

Was it that the client should have spent more money and booked a true professional to do their wedding? How much did the client spend on these DJ's? Was this thread designed to teach other DJ's that don't know what not to bring to a wedding? Even if he did that then i think that would have not been so bad. This thread certainly didn't teach me something i already didn't know. How many on here would bring a passport system to do a wedding?

Now i learned that usually when i don't want to respond is because either someone has stepped on my toes and i don't like it. Or i just don't like the truth slapping me in the face. That's the truth for me. I've learned to sometimes get my ego out of the way and be open minded to what a person is saying to me. Sometimes i'm open and sometimes my ego is too big to listen. Especially since i've been doing this forever. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mix is planning on going on vacation. By the time he comes back he won't find us. ODJT would have moved. LOL
