Bought radio time

To many ads? Support ODJT and see no ads!
All radio spots are done.

Got no calls relating to the ads.

If you ran enough for image you might see results in the future. DJs aren't exactly an impulse buy that's why I suggested long term imaging if you were going to do any

Abbey Lane,

I wouldn't expect people to CALL.....I would have directed them to a web site instead. Most people will not call because they don't want to be sold anything....but they will snoop around and contact you if they find something appealing.

I'm with Dave.

Does the ad refer to a website or simply a phone number? These days people want to see as well as hear, so a website would be the extra push to pick up the phone.

Also, if there is a website, does it meet the image set by the radio ad. Who wants to hear a cool radio spot and then see a sterile website?

trust me....
15's are the way to go.
research shows FREQUENCY of a message is what is most effective.
and you can run more 15's for the same price as a few 60's
if you think you can "get more message" out of a 60"...
that may be true on the surface,
but look at it from the LISTENER's point of view.
1- if you cant convince them in the first few seconds, you've lost their interest.
2- (again, thinking like a listener) would you rather listen to a quick 15-minute pep talk, or an hour long speech?

as for the Clear Channel "less is more" idea...
it was created to cut down on the length of commercial breaks.
(again...short, sweet, and to the point)
