I figured I'd share a few quick photos for you all of the Blisslights HQ near San Diego. We visited there on Weds to discuss some of the VERY cool new products they have coming out. They are one of the leading laser companies in the world, and the stuff they do for Disney is mind-blowing. I really enjoyed nerding out with their chief engineer.

It's also noteworthy the amazing difference between even their base level products (which most of us are familiar with, the Bliss15 and Bliss50) and the cheap, Chinese knock-offs. The optics and holographics really just don't compare. I'd be willing to bet the QC doesn't compare either. They do extensive testing to ensure a quality product.

The photos show our very own Kat near a few Bliss15s currently in production, Bliss15 and 50s in the burn-in and testing stages (including the Minnesota test LOL) and me in the "lab".

What's the story behind the deep freeze pic?

Blisslights has a very large presence in the outdoor landscape market, so the lasers need to be tested to all weather extremes, both hot and cold. The outdoor models include internal heaters to ensure proper function at down to -25 reliably.

I just recieved my Blisslight BL15 from NLFX about a week ago and I absolutely love it. I've already sold one wedding because I embedded a You-tube clip in the quote. The bride loved it and booked immediately.

Any other Bliss owners found themselves being asked, "Can I buy that from you?"

Has happened twice so far since getting the 2nd unit.

Joe, I get that a lot.... last Saturday night the lighting company doing the 50 plus up lights at my event wanted one... I told them to call Ben........

Ben - That was a cute pic of you two,,, however, I think in keeping with the spirit of myself, and I am not trying to derail your post, but next time, could you please have Kat in a bikini? Mahalo nui loa..... Just make sure you don't mix up the request and have YOU in the bikini, that would just be too dammm scary..... :)

Thanks for sharing! It's good to hear companies taking their QC seriously. There was a recent vendor that screwed over many companies on LED PARs.

Absolutely.

The Bliss is an elegant, slow-moving fixtures. The Galaxian (in sound-active esp), can move, bounce, react to the beat of the music - great for faster dance music.

Got some nice comments on my 3D on my Sat. night Sweet 16.

Cheers,

Joe

To both Chuck and Sarge: Can't you see the Wedding Ring on her finger? Were you all "Blinded By The Light"? :sqlaugh:
There's other stuff in the pic with Kat? I couldn't tell.

Ditto to you too! :sqlaugh:
