Many maybe doing this already, but I shared it awhile back...
OK,,, ya know how sometimes the dots go where you don't want them?
I try and aim mine at that spot on the ceiling that looks best,,,, remember when doing this, to go out front and look from the audience's viewpoint..... Find that sweet spot on the ceiling where it looks great and will be right above the B&G first dance... Ok,, got it? Cool...
Now see how some of the dots are hitting low and making green dots where that white wedding gown would be?
Take some gaffers tape, a small piece,,, start sliding it up from the bottom of the laser's lens,,, as you slide it up watch the dots disappear and stop when you get to the right point.
This way you will not have mad photographers because of all the green dots..... during dance time if ya want, you can remove the tape for full effect.
