I looked hard at the T-Par system (it's the most functional foundation for a light rig, imo) but the dependence on their stand was a deal breaker for me. It's probably the only light of it's kind in the industry that will not allow you to use a traditional tripod, due to their stupid connector on the bar. I read lots of reviews that were not favorable regarding the way the light connects to the stand and it's over all stability. I want to mount my Pocket Spots on the thing, and it's just not gonna be stable enough due to their insistence of making people use their crappy stand, only. If they ever adjust the design to a conventional collar/connector for the thing....I'm in.
