Just bumping, as the party is this Saturday. I'll let you know how it goes. The instructor is expecting 75 - 100 kids ( about 30 of those are current students ).

I am confused here by your statement. :triconfused: You must be joking right? :trirolleyes:The reason why I asked is because that is the exact amount of hours I am doing and money I am making for a gig I am doing on a Friday in December. If it goes over the time, then more $$$$$$.:triwink:

OK, so things didn't go exactly as was outlined in the contract, but that was OK because the instructor and I agreed TOGETHER on some changes. And we agreed to do these at least 2x a year, and possibly 3.
With the contract changes, I made $135 for the event. I also booked a bubble party @ $195, and a 8th year BD party. The call for the 8 year old's BD party came Sunday. It's a Saturday morning @ 11 AM, for 3 hours, and was booked at $375.
So now that I have a clue as to how this can all work, I need to decide who to market to. I already told the TKD instructor that he will not be my only client in the area if I can arrange more events. He didn't seem to care one way or the other.

3 kids signed up, but only 1 did at the event. We agreed that I would get partial credit for anybody who signed up after the event was over, for up to 2 weeks. I "could" still make more money, but I doubt it. So, there is 12 days left for me to pick up a little more money.

The owner has asked me back to do another party for the first Saturday in May at 11 AM - leaving me open to take a wedding or other event if it comes my way.
I also have booked one for a local Karate studio for mid April.
