Maybe i'm dumb...But i couldn't accept $1,000 for only working for 2 hours...
I would have no problem accepting $1,000 for working 2 hours. It would mean the place got 11 new clients at 90 a month.
Johan Santana from the Mets got paid over 18 million last year. IF he made 35 starts, thats $539,318 for a 3 hour game. If he made 100 pitches in each of those games, that's $5,393 for every pitch. Should he turn the money down?
Now, in order to become a top rated major league pitcher, you have to put in a lot of work that isn't paid for. So those numbers are skewed.
Just like when a DJ takes the time to come up with a marketing idea, pitches the idea to a companies, then plans it, promotes it, gets there early, double checks everything, "works for 2 hours", then tears down.....all with the possibility of making nothing......
Like I said, I would have no problem getting paid $1000 for "2 hours of work"
There is a whole different mind set when thinking like an hourly employee and thinking like a business man
