I just picked up a wedding with a Hawaiian theme.... not only will this be a relaxed wedding where I can actually wear bermuda shorts and a loud Hawaiian shirt just like Maui Chuck but I'm also looking for a good source for lei's.

I know some of you have experience with lei's and I'm just wondering where can I get the best lei's at a good price... I don't want a cheap lei but I also don't want to go overboard and buy high priced lei's either. So where do you get your lei's?

In any major city their will be cheap lays, ohh you ment lei, try ebay. Oh boy I rhymed...

He's elitist Dave, he only wants imported lays yorofl:

I suggest you do all your shopping here: http://musicbyrequest.makesparties.com/Catalog.aspx?intDisplayableProductID=120590&intDisplayableCategoryID=3977

The Moholu Floral Leis are very nice and not the MOST expensive. If you want to spend less but still get nicer pieces the Raffia Leis are markedly better than the thin, very cheap pieces.

If you want to be unique, wear a Kukui Nut Lei, it's what a Hawaiian King would wear.

On a side note...please don't wear shorts. Nice khaki chinos have a substantially more professional appearance.

Are you looking for good looking, but cheap give-aways? Can't help you. Those terms are mutually exclusive.

Are you looking for great looking, but not overly expensive, where you can get just one for yourself? Party City and/or a costume shop.

Well we're not completely backwoods here in the corn belt....

If you can describe it using the word corn...well, you do the math!!!

ARE WE HAVING FUN YET!!!

P.S. I have a good friend who was "borned" and raised in Corn Belt, and he ain't so bad neither!

Go with what I call the "don Ho" look,,, white pants and an Aloha Shirt,,, baggie works, comfy cool and you'll look like an MC... make sure you get everyone to say A-L-O-H-A!!! back to you, make them do it twice.... When releasing them for dinner let them know that the catering staff has prepared "ono grinds" it's cheesy but ya know,,,, it'll work...

White pants means I can't wear my camouflage boxers right?

hey a little "see thru" action will just make it more interesting for the guests.
but if you DO go for the white pants
you HAVE to also wear the shiny white patent leather shoes.
(it's a law.....just ask Chuck)

Gee I bet if you listen to the Hawaiian theme music long enough you will compare it to 90's Hip Hop.
