letter I emailed her:

Dear *****,

I've got some more questions for ya. I've got some friends in the online community that swear that SF ins. doesn't cover DJ work or at least haven't figured out how it is coverd in the event of an accident.. they've been made aware of this by SF branches in their area. Let me address some points I'd like to find answers for or if you want me to do the legwork, point me to a number where I can find the info. I want to pass the info back to my friends online because several of them would rather go back SF if indeed they can be covered because they have other existing policies.

1. What are the requirements for me to follow when filing a claim if there is an accident that I'm liable for?

2. Will a legally binding contract tied to each event help filing a claim in the event there is an accident?

3. Can I get a copy of my policy which states how I'm covered as a mobile DJ?

Thanks for clearing these questions up. This is all stuff that I've meant to get around to understanding but haven't made it a priority. Plus, there are some other DJ's that would love to hear these answered. Who knows, maybe its a sale for you! I'll point em your direction.

Thanks *****!

Anything else I should add?

JT : Is she cute?

Never mind. I didn't say that.

Really honey, just kidding around with the boys.

Okay, sweetie, I'm sorry. Dinner where?

She's in insurance. How cute can she be. Now if you said she was a Fox News anchor, well then now you're talking.:sqlaugh:

And yes, I did just say that.:sqwink:

My edit, since you asked,

Dear *****,

Please identify or forward, by 04/19/09, a copy of my State Farm Liability policy that provides coverage while engaged in the performance of and activities associated with JF Productions Inc. and or Jeremiah Nichol, Disc Jockey.

Also, please highlight any provisions that establish mandatory requirements for complete coverage, such as contracts or work orders, as well as any conditions that would limit or exclude coverage under said policy.

Sincerely,

Jeremiah Nichol

P.S. I typically charge $150/hour for drafting such correspondence, but I am still not 100% over the "freebie today for potential return in the future" nonsense, so consider this gratis!:sqwink:

I bet she new when she first met you.:sqwink: We all did.

if I forwarded that...
She'd know you didn't draft it. It included too many clues that it was written by someone with a command of the written word and has a clear, precise and serious purpose.

I mean, laughing at me....not with me.
Why did you include a picture of yourself naked?:sqeek:

Then I won't suggest you use words at all, just show up and grunt your request. You won't get what you need but you might get a nice ripe banana!:monkeylaugh:

Did you want a serious response from your alleged agent or a casual reply that leaves you no more knowledgeable after the fact?

Hey, Rox! Any merit in this?

I'm not always that clear on the written word either. Did you mean she new as in knowledge or she new as in she was the new girl?:sqwink: Sometimes I just get so confused.:sqconfused:

I got nuthin against the guy - he can be abrasive and an upstart, and we've gone the rounds a few times, but it's all part of his charm!

Gotta love personalities!
