Incorrect, sir. We are both still working full time, therefore, we do not qualify for PUA insurance, even with an additional self employed status. They consider household income, not just self employed income. She works for the government and I work for a church.

Correct me if I am wrong but to qualify for unemployment for self employed, you must have paid income tax for the previous year. So many of my dj friends who haven't claimed a dime of dj income are thinking of applying... I bet that is an audit waiting to happen.

Steve, I could not agree more. There are MANY of us dj's that simply don't go anymore because all they have is dj's scratching. It's absolutely TERRIBLE. In my opinion, the person who likes to scratch is the dj who is doing it. There is ZERO money in it.
