Lightening Strike Takes Out Lighting Fixtures...

I had 16 flat pars (High Power 4 in 1 LED 7 channel) installed in our local hockey arena, when a bolt of lightening took them out, and fried the DMX cables too. We open for the new season this Saturday night, so I installed 16 of my own lights, until we can get an insurance settlement. Our sound system was also affected... there is a humming all of the time in the system now. We have more lighting than that... will wait to see how the moving heads are doing.

Lightning took out the tower at the Baltimore airport yesterday, so my daughter had to drive home to Nashville. Eleven hours later she made it home. #thatsucks.

Tyrone, I don't know if you were trying to reach Ben but lately he has been on the road a lot. I believe he is back in Mn now though.

OK, losses are expected to be considerable, and we need someone to sell and install a sound system (mixer, amps, speakers etc), and sell us some light fixtures.

I could use quotes for 16 "high power flat pars - 7 channel - LED 4 in 1 - 12 diode par cans. You'll have to include shipping too. Four moving heads with all the bells and whistles ( focus, prism, strobe, replaceable gobos, etc etc). We were using 90 watt LED, but I'd like to go with 575 watt incandescent. We are using "ShowXpress Plus" with a touch screen. May be replaced, but not sure... I've replaced all the DMX cables already.

Sound systems: I can send you pictures if needed. The job will start from the rack to the amplifiers to the 4 large speakers on the ceiling (20 feet up). There is a hummm in the system, and one speaker is out completely.

Update... all the new lighting has been ordered and is on the way. There will be over 50 fixtures in the new show, with a new sound system and live video (10 foot screen and 6000 lumen projector). I'm still looking for a TV camera and switcher. I'm drooling over the new moving heads (16 channel 5R bulbs)! I'll give details when they are installed. Total is well over stated numbers above (no one bid on the project except me and a Minneapolis sound company). 32 flat pars; 8 moving heads; 10 color bars; 2 follow spots... all run with ShowXpress on a touch screen.
